There are also plans to acquire a new 500-ton lift with a width of 16 m (the only one of that width in the Adriatic Sea), to enable easier lifting for large vessels. This also includes the construction of a new lifting pool for ships weighing up to 500 tons. The lifting system will thereby be replaced with more modern, less noisy infrastructure.
